I'm Moira
Public Relations and Corporate Communications
What brought you to Fanshawe?
I hear that London was a great city and that Fanshawe was a great school. When I looked at the program lists, there was really no doubt in my mind that Fanshawe would be the perfect place for me.
Tell us about your favourite Fanshawe experience.
First I took Broadcast Journalism, then I came back quite a few years later for Post Grad Public Relations and Corporate Communications. I've made friendships/connections that will last a lifetime and the opportunities given were and continue to be absolutely endless. I was also on the Deans honor role in 2016.
What impact has Fanshawe had on your life?
The Public Relations and Communications program saved my life. The professors were/are incredible and I still have a very good relationship with a lot of them. The job opportunities from the acquired skills from both programs that I have taken at Fanshawe have completely changed my life. I also won an academic award for a placement through my program which gave me wonderful recognition.
What are you up to now?
After moving back from Thunder Bay where I worked at the Hospital Foundation. I'm now happily at CMHA Middlesex in Fundraising and Events Planning with the best group of people that I have ever met in my entire life.
